Salaam Bombay Singapore (food review)

I am a big fan of Authentic Indian Cuisine and used to eat it very frequently. The food from Salaam Bombay Singapore is incredibly yummy, given that the chefs were from 5 stars hotel in India. It is great that premium ingredients are used and quality of the food is outstanding. You will be captured by the sight, smell and visually appealing dishes for sure.

Salaam Bombay is a spacious and airy casual dining restaurant at Fusionpolis. I simply love how they introduce authentic Bombay street food experience to everyone. The food is subtle, not too spicy and oily. You will be warmly welcomed with a 𝐏𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐦 𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐀𝐞𝐭! Salaam Bombay pride themselves on maintaining the highest food quality and cleanliness! Olive oil is used in 70% of the dishes and no oil is re-used!

Don't leave without trying their appetizers, mains, drinks and desserts!

Samosa Chaat

Crispy vegetables samosas, smothered with chana masala (chickpeas) and topped with onions, sweet, sour & spicy chutneys, yogurt, sev and garnished with blended spices. This is a delightful combination of sweet, sour and spicy flavours. Paired with the crispy exterior, it is super addictive! I highly recommend this dish, a truly elevated version of the usual Samosa.

Fish Tikka

The moist and tender fish is the highlight! I love the chunks of boneless fish which is marinated with yogurt & Indian spices. The charred exterior is so fragrant as the fish is barbecued in a tandoor, then seared with mint chutney.

Fish Tikka Masala

The curry goes so well with rice or naan. It taste so refreshing and fragrant! I love the barbequed fish cubes which are cooked in thick onion sauce, with plenty of onions and tomatoes

Garlic Naan

The visuals, taste and smell are on point. The naan glistens with fragrant garlic oil and is so light! It isn't very crispy and goes so well with sauces/dips.

Ras Malai

This is definitely a must-try for everyone with a sweet tooth - absolutely delicious. The desserts served at Indian restaurants are usually very sweet but not this one! It has the right amount of sweetness. It taste a little like Vanilla ice cream, but it is actually freshly made cottage cheese dumpling which is served in a milk sauce with saffron and pistachios. I love this so much that I had a little over 1 serving.
