It is a wonderful experience on Asia’s largest and first Quantum Ultra Class cruise ship […]
Little Elephant is a Thai bistro conveniently located in the heart of Tiong Bahru (it's opposite Tiong Bahru Bakery). They serve traditional authentic Thai cuisine with a modern touch.
The interior decor and airy environment makes me feel like I am not in Singapore momentarily. It's a great place to go with a couple of people to order several dishes to pair with rice! We had a really wholesome and satisfying meal.
Grilled Pork Neck
This is a signature dish from Little Elephant. It's grilled to perfection! The pork neck is so tender and flavourful. You could dip them into the Thai homemade sauce as well.
This is my favourite dish as it isn't too fatty or greasy. It's a good change from pork jowl which might be a little too fatty.
Stir Fry Sliced Beef with Holy Basil
The beef is sous vide for 48 hours at 65 degrees before stir-fried with holy basil and bell peppers. Surprisingly, I am leaning more towards the chicken/pork dishes! The generous amount of bell peppers / capsicum add a healthy touch to the dish.
Squid in salted egg sauce
The salted egg sauce is quite different from the ones at Tze Char stall. It's subtle in taste and much lighter.
Love that the squid is really tender and comes in generous portion. Bell peppers /capsicum makes the meal very nutritious!
Red curry chicken
The curry is very flavorful and delicious. I definitely prefer red curry more than green curry, as it is much richer in flavour.
Don't forget a healthy plate of greens. I enjoy the crunchy Kailan! It's not usually that common to have a large portion of greens. This is good to pair with all the meat/seafood dishes.
Red Ruby
There are so many tables ordered this so I couldn't help ordering it! I love the refreshing and crunchy red rubies!
