Desserts from Holy Moly Cakes (Food Review)

Something better than Cheesecake would be a Matcha Cheesecake for me!

I love a duo flavored dessert, as it's awesome to have the best of both worlds. The richness of the cheese and the bitterness from the Matcha complement each other incredibly well. The Matcha portion has a good amount of richness. Its intensity and creaminess is a bit similar to Royce Nama Chocolate's. Holy Moly Cakes uses minimal sugar in their bakes so the cake isn't too sweet.

The interior is molten and so indulgent (straight from the fridge)! But if you leave the cake at room temperate for a longer time, the Matcha portion would be creamier.

Their Lava Basque Cheesecake comes in so many flavors! There's original, salted caramel, chocolate, matcha, oreo, yuzu, nutella and coffee. All their desserts are freshly made upon order. I haven't spotted a Lava Cheesecake with a base crust so I am really glad that Holy Moly Cakes offers either oreo or digestive biscuit as a choice. It adds a good crunch to the creamy filling and makes it extra satisfying.
