Desserts from Artea (Food Review)

It's hard to miss Artea at Vivo City as it is the most aesthetically pleasing cafe. It's a floral themed cafe which focuses on Tea, Tiramisu and Soufflé pancakes. One can chill in their space decorated in white, pink and blue.

I am happy to share that their desserts look and taste good. The presentation of their tiramisu is also very unique. You will get a cute little spoon to dig into the dessert. I got Lychee Rose flavour. It has the creamy texture of Tiramisu but it seems that cocoa and espresso are not present. Nevertheless, it still taste good with a hint of floral scent. The cake is very light on the palette so it balances well with the drinks which are very rich in flavor. The serving is suitable for 1-2 pax.

Avocado Cheese Drink

Their signature drinks (Mango or Avocado) are so eye-catching! I got Avocado Cheese as it is my go-to smoothie. As the top layer of cheese is savory and slightly salty, it complements the slightly sweet ice-blended Avocado! I saw a couple of orders for their Mango Smoothie and it looks so good. The drinks are topped off with a generous portion of mango cubes.

Mochi Floss Bun with Yam

This is an absolutely must try! I wasn't expecting their mochi to be in the limelight. But it has blown me away with the taste. There's a good amount of taro and mochi inside the bun! Adding Taro makes the bread more flavorful. There's savory chicken floss on the outside, loaded with soft and chewy filling on the inside. The bun is so delicious. It's like the elevated version of floss bun from Breadtalk. I would head to Artea just for these buns again!

They don't serve souffle pancakes at Vivo City but you can head to Causeway point (smaller outlet) for them.
